XXXIII Fragno Black Truffle National Fair

Until 19 November, in the small medieval town of Calestano (Parma

Fragno, a village near Calestano that borders the woods of ValBaganza, boasts a long tradition of expert and passionate truffle hunters,known as "trifolini" or "tartufini". It is thanks to themthat, on these Sundays in winter, people have been gathering since 1984 totaste and celebrate a product so abundant in the area: the black truffle.

 

Now in its 23rd edition, the fair offers a variety of gastronomicspecialties (restaurants and street food), fun activities and walks in the landof the truffle.
At the truffle fair, held on Sundays, there will also be local truffle huntersselling the Fragno black truffle, farm and stalls exhibiting local products.
