The Parma UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy Foundation and ParmaQuality Restaurants invite you to a charity dinner to get to know San Patrignano. The proceeds will be donated to the community.

Monday 16 October will be a special evening in the evocative setting of Franco Maria Ricci’s fabulous Labirinto della Masone.
The guests will enjoy a selection of the excellent products of Parma’s FoodValley combined for this occasion with those of San Patrignano’s: from the welcome aperitif to the seated dinner, it will be a crescendo of delights embracing one another under the sing of solidarity.

• Pumpkin risotto with San Patrignano’s squacquerone cheese, crumbled amaretti and mustard flavoured bambooshoots
• Veal bundle with Prosciutto andParmigiano Reggiano cheese, Aulente wine reduction on potato mousse with saffron
• Tobia dessert, raspberry Namelaka with savoury crumble, Panettone of San Patrignano   

All courses are served with San Patrignano still wines. During the evening the wines will be auctioned and the proceeds will be added to the total donation.

San Patrignano

Is a home, a family for young people who lost their way, their motivation and who need to get on a path of self-esteem, dignity, responsibility, and enthusiasm.
San Patrignano is a community for life that opens its arms to those who suffer from addiction and marginalization. It helps them find their own way with a programme of recovery, a path with love at its core.
The community opens to the outside world through a series of specific activities: over 50 life and training sectors that people attend based on their inclination. Learning a job and being good at it grows self-esteem and relationships with others. It provides also an access key to re-enter society with full credits.

Among the sectors, the agri-food relies on viticulture/wine making and dairy cattle breeding. Learning a job is indispensable for the guests of the community for  their successful reintegration into society. Adapting to changing seasons or caring for an animal makes people deal with great satisfaction or, sometimes, great disappointment.
In addition to fulfilling a therapeutic purpose, seeking quality for each product teaches the community members never to make do, but always strive to reach the best result possible. Thanks to the experience gained through the years, the skills acquired and the professionalism for each specific sector, their wines, cheeses, deli meats, baked products and oil have become excellent products renown throughout the country.
